Park at the main lot (Visitor’s Center) or at the overflow parking lot located of Old 41 Hwy. ($5 parking fee!)
Meet at the picnic area located adjacent to the Visitor’s Center.

The 24 Gun Battery Trail is an easy to moderate hike with very little elevation change. Alternative route (or extension) is available using the Environmental Loop. It will be an out and back hike at your own pace, with an optional scavenger hunt activity. Bring your own water and snacks for the hike. Everyone is welcome to stay afterwards for a picnic. BYO picnic items if you plan to stay!
