Founded in 2000, Kennesaw Mountain High School Bands have established a reputation for artistic excellence and innovation. Kennesaw Mountain’s band program consists of three concert ensembles (Wind Symphony, Symphonic Band, and Concert Band), an award-winning Marching Band, Jazz Band, Percussion Ensemble, Chamber Ensembles, Pit Orchestra, and Winter Guard. Performing at multiple concerts, festivals, and competitions each year, the band curriculum focuses on developing students’ musicianship, instrumental skills, and leadership.

KMMI is thrilled to announce that Barry Morgan is returning this year as the voice of KMMI XXV. Mr. Morgan needs no introduction having spent many years as Solicitor General of Cobb County. Before that, he was a Band Director at various Cobb County Schools and he currently serves as a Director on the Board of Music for All.

Congratulations to the Band for taking home top honors at the Bands of America Southeastern Regional in Birmingham, AL on October 12th. The Band also competed at the Bands of America Orlando regional and placed Second in Class AA and Fourth Overall.
